Laser beam penetrates the skin and becomes absorbed in the hair follicle residing under the skin surface. The heat generated by the laser energy destroys the follicle. Each laser beam or “pulse” takes less than a second to destroy a large number of hair follicles simultaneously.

The number of hair treatments needed to obtain optimal results varies with hair density, hair color, skin types, location of treatment area and hair growth cycle.
