Zaulyanov-Scanlan, M.D.
Larissa
Zaulyanov-Scanlan, M.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist and
Dermatologic Surgeon practicing in Delray and Margate,
Florida. She
specializes in skin cancer surgery and repair, including use
of the Mohs technique. Her
professional interests include wound healing, skin aging,
hormones, lasers, and medical dermatology, all areas in which
she has authored and co-authored articles and book chapters. She
also offers a variety of personalized aesthetic services to
her patients, from Botox and fillers to laser treatments.
Dr.
Zaulyanov-Scanlan graduated Cum Laude in Microbiology and Cell
Science from the University of Florida in Gainesville, with
minors in Philosophy and Chemistry.
She received her medical degree at the University of
South Florida in Tampa, graduating among the top of her class
and being recognized with the Award in Excellence. It
is there where she also completed her internship training in
Internal Medicine.
Her
residency training in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery was
completed at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital
where she was the recipient of the Excellence in Dermatologic
Surgery Award as well as recognized for her senior research
project involving collagen production in a skin model after
treatment with estrogen and laser.
Dr.
Zaulyanov-Scanlan is also Voluntary Faculty at the University
of Miami Department of Dermatology Cosmetic Center, where she
continues to pursue her research interests and assist in the
instruction of visiting residents and fellows.
She
has been involved and continues to be involved in the American
Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic
Surgery, American Society for Mohs Surgery, Women’s
Dermatologic Society, the Florida Society of Dermatology and
Dermatologic Surgery, and the Skin Cancer Foundation.
Her
personal interests include spending time with her husband and
son, painting, and ceramics.
