Joel
M. Wilentz, M.D.
Dr.
Joel Wilentz trained in Dermatology at the New York University
Skin and Cancer Unit and the Mount Sinai Hospital of New York
City culminating as the chief resident in Dermatology.
Dr.
Wilentz came to Florida in 1970 having served as Dermatologist
to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
He began a dermatology practice with his good friend,
Dr. Richard Greene who likewise recently fulfilled his
Military obligation. This
practice has grown into the largest Dermatological practice in
the state of Florida encompassing 20 Physicians with 25
Physicians Assistants.
Dr.
Wilentz is a past Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology
at the University of Miami School of Medicine, a past
president of the Broward County Dermatological Society, a past
member of the Board of Overseers of Nova Southeastern College
of Pharmacy, and the immediate past President of ARMDI, which
is the Israeli Emergency Medical Service and now the Chairman
of the Board for the Southeastern United States.
He is the president of BAMPAC, which is the Political
Action Committee for Physicians, and ``a member of the Board
of Directors for the Broward County Medical Society. Dr.
Wilentz also serves on the Board of Directors for the State of
Florida for NICA, which is the Neurological Injury
Compensation Association and he is a member of the board of
advisors for the Physician’s Assistant program for Nova
Southeastern University.
Dr.
Wilentz has published numerous articles in various medical
journals. |
